1. Controller and Contact
Data controller: owner/developer of Gasolineras Espana: GasolSpain.
Privacy contact and rights requests: info@soluserv.es
2. What Data We Process
Depending on the enabled features, the app may process the following categories:
- Precise/approximate location (latitude/longitude) to search for nearby stations and update maps/lists.
- Installation identifier (installId), a pseudonymous identifier generated locally and used for the 7-day trial and invitations.
- App technical data: client package, versionCode, and versionName.
- Invitation/referral data: inviter (referrerInstallId) obtained through Install Referrer or sent by the client to validate invitations.
- Backend security data (for security events): remote IP address and user agent.
- Local preferences stored on the device (selected fuel type, brand filter, favorites, sorting, and view mode).
The app does not request your name, email, phone number, payment details, or subscriptions.
3. Why We Use the Data (Purposes)
- Provide the main functionality: showing stations and prices based on proximity and filters.
- Enforce minimum version control and access to secure endpoints.
- Manage the usage trial and unlocking through verified invitations.
- Prevent fraud or technical abuse (for example, downgrade detection or invalid package detection).
- Maintain service operation and technical support.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract/service (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) for essential app features.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) for security, service integrity, and fraud prevention.
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) where device permissions apply, for example location and system voice features.
5. Sharing and Recipients
We do not sell personal data.
Technical communications may occur with:
- The service backend infrastructure for licensing/invitations and the secure station feed.
- Google Play services (for example, Install Referrer and, if enabled, Play Integrity) for installation and referral validation.
- Map apps chosen by the user when the user taps navigate or open map (the destination coordinates are shared with that app).
6. International Transfers
Some technology providers, for example Google, may process data outside the EEA. In those cases, the appropriate legal safeguard mechanisms will apply.
7. Data Retention
- Location sent to the backend: used to resolve station queries; it is not stored as a trip history in the license table.
- License/invitation status and installId: retained while the service is active or until a valid deletion request is received, except where legal obligations apply.
- Security events (IP/user agent): retained only for the time needed for security, audit purposes, and abuse prevention.
- Local preferences: remain on the device until the user uninstalls the app or clears app data.
8. User Rights
You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability, and you may withdraw consent where applicable.
To process your request, write to info@soluserv.es. To locate your technical record, you may need to provide your installId.
You can also use the public deletion form here.
If you want to manage or delete only part of the app data without fully closing your technical record, you can use the data management form here.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, in Spain the AEPD, if you believe the processing does not comply with applicable regulations.
9. Minors
The app is not specifically directed to minors. If we detect unlawful processing of minors data, we will take steps to delete it.
10. Security
- HTTPS/TLS transmissions on production endpoints.
- Package/version validation controls and installation integrity checks depending on configuration.
- Reasonable measures to limit unauthorized access and misuse.
11. Voice Data
The voice search feature uses the devices system or Google speech recognition components. The processing of audio and recognized text is governed by the policies of the system voice service provider.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or functional changes. We will always publish the current version at this URL.
